AVAILABLE CRITTERS - LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER FARMS
CATAHOULA HEELER PUPPIES — From Working Farm Parents
All of our pups are born in the house in a whelping pen. From birth we use a litter pan in the pen to teach them the difference between where they sleep and where they potty. Now at almost 11 weeks old they are outside in a double kennel — we trained them to use the grass side as their potty area and they keep the other side clean. They run free most of the day and stay close to the house, they don't wander off. When I whistle they all come running. I've been working with them on sit, no puppy biting, not being under your feet when you walk, and not jumping up on you (those little nails hurt! lol). If they start to chew on something they shouldn't, I redirect with a toy or a stick. All a work in progress but they all show great potential. Family-raised — started inside, now inside & outside on the farm.
About the Parents:
Mother is our working farm dog — protects all farm animals, keeps predators away, helps with cattle, and is gentle with all farm babies. Sweet, super friendly, loves everyone, total snuggle bug, and eager to please.
Father is a family friend's Blue Heeler — attentive, protective, listens well, and kind to even the smallest farm babies. Sweet and very smart.
This is their 2nd and final litter. First litter pups are grown and doing amazing — photos of adult pups available, everyone loves their pup!
These pups are incredibly versatile — can be active farm helpers, livestock guardians, hiking buddies, frisbee/catch dogs, or happy snuggle bugs. Raised around farm animals and well socialized.
Vet checked with puppy vaccinations, wormed every 2 weeks, dewclaws removed.
